Dr. Drucker founded New York Hip and Knee in 2009. The focus of the practice is to provide the highest quality of care to people who suffer from pre-arthritic and arthritic conditions of the hip and knee. He performs over 300 joint replacements per year. In addition to his busy practice, he is an assistant clinical professor at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School where he plays an active role in educating orthopedic residents in joint replacement surgery. Dr. Drucker contributes to publications in orthopedic journals and also serves on several editorial boards. He is a member of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. His vast experience enables him to think critically about how implant designs can be improved to better serve the younger, more active patients who present with arthritis. Accordingly, he is currently working on an orthopedic implant company’s design team whose focus is on innovative knee designs for this younger group of patients who participate in activities that place high stress on their joints. Dr. Drucker has been distinguished as a top orthopedic surgeon in the New York Times Magazine Super Docs for the past 10 years, and has been a Castle Connolly Top Doc annually since 2002.
